Buyeo-gun is located in southwestern Chungcheongnam-do.
It borders Nonsan-si on the east, Seocheon-gun and Boryeong-si
on the west, Iksan-si, Jollabuk-do on the south (with
the Geumgang in between), and Gongju-si and Cheongyang-gun
on the north.
Buyeo-gun covers a total area of approximately 624.92
sq.km. Its population stood at 100,867 as of 1996. There
is one eup, 15 myeons and 191 ris (eups, myeons and ris
are basic Governmental administrative units). The Gun
Office is located in Dongnam-ri, Buyeo-eup. |
